MotoMill Industries

President, COO, & Co-Owner

May 2014 - Feb. 2015

I oversaw all business, finance, marketing, and legal aspects of the company. I did this as a strategic move to allow my business partner and classmate the opportunity to focus in on the product. I did this as a strategic move to allow my business partner and classmate the opportunity to focus in on the product. We were a startup setting out to create affordable desktop CNC machines (also referred to as subtractive 3D printers). This business allowed us to attend the Governor's School for the Entrepreneurs (GSE) in the summer of 2014. We successfully developed a running prototype while at this summer camp. This business we started quickly gained attention after GSE and we began pitching on a circuit while also developing our product. We had manufacturing contracts lined up and we also had secured private funding on the stipulation that we had a manufacturing-ready prototype. Sadly, we were unable to receive the funding as situations beyond our control kept us from continuing on our business and we closed in February of 2015.
